Fun game, but they are few very annoying things: when you are on a descending platform, you can't jump and that is very frustrating, the instantly breaking blocks are just full luck: first time I beat this (took like 8 attempts because I kept dying to the last bat) my time was 177, because I kept falling to the breaking blocks, run after that my time was 55, because I had no instantly breaking blocks, the blocks that take time to break are okay in my mind, because you can save yourself from them with reflexes, but the instantly breaking ones are just 100% luck and also when you got a box that started descending at start, so it only got lower during the up and down animation, it was really hard because you needed to time the jump almost perfectly at the top of the boxes animation, but when it started ascending at start it was very easy, because it only got higher during the animation, so it actually gave you a little boost. And at last WHY DOES EVERY GAME YOU MAKE NEED TO HAVE DIFFERENTLY SIZED PIXELS, JUST MAKE THE PIXEL SIZE CONSISTENT AND IT LOOKS 200% BETTER, PLEASE..... But yes, it's a good game.
You won because you overcame you fear LOL. Thank you for you thorough analysis!
I know that there are issues, but hey, this was an entry for TRIjam, and you don’t have much time for perfection.
The breaking bricks are 100% luck? I know, but the limitation was “expect the unexpected”, so every time you jump you must be aware that the block may break. So before you jump you must check what you have below. That’s the whole point.
Otherwise, the game would be way too easy. It also took me several attempts and I also died at the end a lot, lol.
Hey Ratainen, I was wondering about what you say about pixel size. I try to make the pixel-art consistent, I use piskel for all the assets, same pixel size and same palette. Probably I’m not super-careful but… could you give me examples of incosistencies? I would like to improve details like that.
Thank you very much in advance!

Here
Oh I see, I tried to add little details but I used different brushes for that. I won’t fail you next time. Thanks!
Cool...It's similar to Icy Tower...but it's a lot harder.
